September 26, 2019 (Gaithersburg M.D) - Gill Briggs, Service Director at Fitzgerald Toyota of Gaithersburg and Jim Lashear Master Technician and Team Lead at Fitzgerald Toyota of Gaithersburg have been awarded the Challenge Coin for Outstanding Product Quality Support on behalf of the Field Technical Operations of Toyota Motors North America.
This recognition was bestowed upon Briggs and Lashear for their outstanding support of Toyota quality and always putting the customer first. Their contributions will enable Toyota's Product Engineers, vehicle assembly plants, suppliers, designers and future product developers to improve quality of products and services to their costumers.Jack Fitzgerald, the founder of Fitzgerald Auto Malls congratulated Briggs and Lashear for "their dedication in providing the highest quality of costumer service, a first priority to us as a company. The Challenge Coins awarded to the FitzMall associates are two of the only 125 2019 Challenge Coins that will be distributed across all of Toyota and Lexus this year. This year's design incorporates the hood emblem of the 1935 Toyota A1, the first automobile produced by Toyota Loom Works.
