TOYOTA PRESENTS PETS WITH DISABILITIES WITH A NEW TOYOTA AT FITZGERALD

Toyota Program Donates 100 Cars to 100 Nonprofits in 50 Days

GAITHERSBURG, MD – February 19, 2014 – Toyota today presented a brand new 2014 Toyota Highlander to Pets with Disabilities at Fitzgerald Lakeforest Toyota, as part of the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program, a major philanthropic initiative in which the automaker is giving away 100 cars to 100 nonprofits over the course of 50 days, based on votes from the public.

“Fitzgerald Auto Malls is very proud to support and be a part of the Toyota 100 Cars for Good program,” said Dottie Fitzgerald, Vice President of Fitzgerald Auto Malls, “Pets with Disabilities is an incredible organization and we commend their efforts.”

100 Cars for Good is the first Toyota initiative that engages the public to determine how corporate philanthropic donations will be awarded. Individual members of the public were able to vote through Facebook for the nonprofit organizations they believed could do the most good with a new vehicle. The contest began on October 1, 2013 and continued over the course of fifty days. At the end of each day, the two nonprofits with the most number of votes would win a brand new Toyota vehicle.

“We were thrilled to have been chosen again as one of the worthy organizations to participate in Toyota’s 100 Cars for Good program,” said Joyce Darrell, one of the founders of Pets with Disabilities, “This year was our lucky year and we were one of the winning organizations, a dream come true for our rescue.” Pets with Disabilities will use the new Highlander to provide safe and affordable transport for many homeless, disabled dogs in need and a second chance to find a loving home.

Local Homeless Pets Need Forever Homes
Washington Animal Rescue League and Fitzgerald Subaru
Partner to “Share the Love”
A special, one-day pet adoption event on Saturday, December 7

Washington, DC (November 20, 2013) —Fitzgerald Subaru in North Bethesda will host a pet adoption event to find homes
for local homeless pets on Saturday, December 7, 2013.  Fitzgerald Subaru celebrates the annual Subaru end-of-year
“Share the Love” event and is working with Washington Animal Rescue League (WARL) for the special, one-day adoption
event at the White Flint dealership on Saturday, December 7.

Twenty homeless dogs and cats from WARL will be available for adoption at Fitzgerald Subaru from 9 am to 12 noon.
Save 50% off regular adoption fees on all animals. Fitzgerald Subaru will donate $100 to WARL for every animal adopted
on Saturday.

“We are delighted to work with the Washington Animal Rescue League,” said Dottie Fitzgerald, President of Fitzgerald Subaru. “The Subaru ‘Share the Love’ event on December 7th is a fabulous time to show you care about the local homeless pets that need your love and new homes.”

Come see the animals and please bring a pet item for the Share the Love “Stuff-the-Subaru” drive. Donations of pet food
and supplies collected will benefit the adoptable animals at the League and support WARL’s Rescuer’s Food Bank, which
helps families facing financial difficulty hold on to and care for their pets. Donations will be collected during the entire
Share the Love celebration, from November 21 to January 2. The Subaru is at the White Flint location.

“The Washington Animal Rescue League is thrilled to partner with Fitzgerald Subaru and participate in ‘Share the Love’,”
said Bob Ramin, CEO of the Washington Animal Rescue League.  “We have many wonderful dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption that have nowhere else to go, and we’re thankful to Dottie Fitzgerald and her fantastic staff for providing the opportunity to showcase our animals, collect food for our food bank and for the extremely generous donations.”

For every new Subaru purchased or leased during the “Share the Love” event, Subaru donates $250 to the owner’s choice
of participating charities. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) is on the list of charities. An interesting fact is 70 percent of Subaru owners have pets, more than any other auto brands.  A majority of the ASPCA’s “Share the Love” donation is targeted for distribution as grants to animal welfare organizations and WARL is a recipient of
one of the grants. Grant funding is helping WARL make homeless animals ready for adoption by providing medical care, performing spay/neuter surgeries, administering vaccines, and microchipping animals.

Event:  WARL Adoption Event at Fitzgerald Subaru
Location:Fitzgerald Auto Mall, 11407 Rockville Pike, North Bethesda, MD 20895
Date & Time:Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 9 am to 12 noon

Fitzgerald Auto Mall OFFERS DEFERRED PAYMENTS FOR CAR BUYERS and Service Customers
Jack Fitzgerald Steps Up During Economic Crisis

North Bethesda, MD   We’re into the second week of the government shutdown, and the economic fallout is impacting more than government employees. Many businesses have been quite generous to those affected, and local auto dealer, Jack Fitzgerald, points out that Fitzgerald dealerships have had programs in place to help families.

In June 2012, the FitzWay Service Financing Plan was created in response to the economic crisis. Available to all customers, FitzWay Service Financing offers a 90-days, same-as cash financing program for as low as 0% APR financing. Don’t put off needed repairs on your vehicle. Not only is it unsafe, it may lead to additional problems, resulting in a larger service bill.  See any of the FitzWay Service advisors for details.

Fitzgerald also offers you a deferred payment plan for vehicle purchases until 2014.

“We’re a family owned business, and we understand how these uncertain times can affect you and your family, too.  We have taken steps with our bankers and we can offer the option to defer your payments until 2014,” says Fitzgerald.

This generous and attractive Fitzgerald Deferred Payment Program kicks in today, and is available on car, truck, or SUV purchases. Payments are deferred for up to 90 days, allowing families to postpone the first payment until 2014. This plan is available for everyone, and you do not have to be a government employee to qualify. FREE CHILD CAR SAFETY SEATS FOR 100 FAMILIES

Fitzgerald Auto Malls Hosts Hispanic Child Car Safety Seat Event

NORTH BETHESDA, MD - September 7, 2013   Fitzgerald Auto Malls hosted their fourth Hispanic Child Safety Seat event at their Gaithersburg dealerships.  It was a fun-filled day of festivities for over a hundred families, but the primary objective of the event was to have their child safety car seats properly inspected and installed.  Today, over 3 out of 4 child seats are incorrectly installed, which means that over 75 percent of our nation’s children are at risk of being seriously injured or killed in a car crash.

The event, Protegiendo Nuestro Futuro (Protecting Our Future), was a collaboration of efforts amongst Fitzgerald Auto Malls, Univision TV, Amerigroup, and Safe Kids Montgomery County to promote child car seat safetyin the Hispanic and Latino communities.  Child safety seat certified technicians inspected over 130 child safety seats at the event and made sure that all child and booster seats were correctly installed.  They also worked to inform and educate parents and families about the importance of proper installation.  Amerigroup donated 100 car and booster seats.  Univision awarded child safety seats to lucky winners in the Univision online raffle.

Fitzgerald Auto Malls has installed over 44,000 child safety seats; the first private organization to achieve this record number of inspections within a single program.
“Fitzgerald Auto Malls is very proud of this accomplishment and we are proud to support the communities we serve,” said Jack Fitzgerald, founder and CEO of Fitzgerald Auto Malls.

Fitzgerald Auto Malls organizes and conducts monthly child safety seat inspections in an effort to increase the number of lives saved through proper installationEvents are held on the third Thursday of every month, with the exception of January and February. Information about upcoming event dates or to make an appointment can be found online at www.FitzMall.com
